Message Center

Overview #

The Message Center module is used to send formal notifications such as reminders, alerts, updates, and important information to students and parents.

Unlike Circulars, which are meant for official institutional communications and announcements, the Message Center focuses on structured, timely notifications that require attention but may not be formal circulars.

Key Features #

  • Auto Fetch Mobile Number

The Auto Fetch Mobile Number feature automatically retrieves updated mobile numbers of students, parents, or staff directly from the EasyEdmin database while sending messages.

This eliminates manual entry, reduces errors, ensures messages reach the correct recipients, and saves administrative time.

  • Multiple Delivery Platforms

The Multiple Delivery Platforms feature allows institutions to send the same message through different communication channels for maximum reach and reliability.

It mainly includes:

  1. Student/Parent Mobile App – delivered on institute mobile app with notification.
  2. Bulk SMS – delivered via telecommunications text messages.
  3. WhatsApp Message – direct, personalised communication without needing to add contact detail into WhatsApp.
 
  • Template Based Messages

Template Based Messages in EasyEdmin’s Message Center allow institutes to create predefined message formats for common communications like attendance, birthday wishes, fee reminders/payments, and exam marks.

These templates support dynamic fields for automatic personalisation ensuring quick, consistent, and error-free communication.

  • Custom Messages

Custom Messages in EasyEdmin’s Message Center allow institutes to compose and send one-time or unique messages that are not based on predefined templates.

This feature is useful for special announcements, urgent updates, or situation-specific communication.

These messages can only be sent to institute mobile app.

  • Add Impact with Images & Documents

Message Center allows institutes to attach images, PDFs, or other supporting documents along with messages.

This helps provide complete information in a single communication, improves clarity, and increases engagement—while ensuring parents and students receive all necessary details.

  • From Institute to Individual — Communicate Seamlessly

Message Center enables institutes to send messages at every level—whether to the entire institute, a specific department, a specific class, selected students, or an individual student.

This ensures targeted communication with the right audience, avoiding unnecessary broadcasts while maintaining clear, efficient, and organized interaction across the institution.

  • Message Groups

The Message Groups feature in EasyEdmin Message Center allows users to quickly select and include predefined groups of staff members while sending a message.

Instead of manually choosing individual recipients every time, users can select a relevant group (for example: Teaching Staff, Admin Team, Accounts Department, etc.) and ensure the message reaches all concerned members instantly.
