We strongly recommend “Hybrid Model” over “Cloud Model” as it has many advantages over cloud even at significantly lower cost. Please find below the major points that gives more insights.
- “Hybrid Model” is a low-cost solution then “Cloud Model” OR provides more modules/facilities at same cost.
- Software operations remain same in both models. For example, teachers will be able to access information / perform operations from their smart phones as well as computers/laptops.
- Mobile app runs in Cloud and hence content will be available 24×7.
- No downtime in Hybrid model even if Internet is dead. Think of a situation where someone has turned up for fee payment and Internet is not working at that time. You won’t be able to take fee Cloud/Web software but will be able to finish all fee processes in Hybrid model.
- Hybrid solution provides fast and quick operations compared to Cloud because of two reasons – (1) Network data transfer rate is very high, (2) Low-cost Cloud servers, especially shared servers, many times, gets jammed when multiple users are accessing software at same time.
- As operations are finished quickly and easily, there is hardly any need to work after institute hours in Hybrid model. Still, if required, staff members can access Hybrid EasyEdmin using Institute’s static IP address.
